Fashion Safety : Surviving Summer Swimwear + Global Warming

April 2nd, 2010 graz No comments

I had nothing to do over the holy week and somehow the magazine sleeping on the rack over a decade gave me quick idea to browse that there might be something useful. And here’s what I’ve found! The Fashion Safety: Surving Summer Swimwear plus global warming. Since it’s summertime, this might be very useful to those who are into beaches and the likes.

Scientist predict that due to global arming, this summer will be the hottest in history. It’s bad news for mother earch, but good news for the swimwear industry because sales will be skyrocketing. However, I foresee that there could be a lot of swimwear casualties if people don’t take the following precautions:

Early Summer Escapade at Boracay

March 11th, 2009 graz 6 comments

Summer has just begun and what a way to spend my early summer escapade is to spend it in Boracay with Eman’s family (my Paparts). I’ve never been there and many of my colleagues mentioned that Boracay is such an awesome paradise.

I’ve purchased the tickets two months before the scheduled date and it made me a thrill to feel the ambiance of what I’ve seen over the internet. I admit, my imagination runs wild and my expectations goes higher and higher when I read every review on local traveler forums and blogs (PEX etc).

February 22nd came, the scheduled date for our trip. Around 7:30AM, we boarded the Cebu Pacific going to Iloilo City. Frankly, it was my first time on a turbo propeller plane and it made me nervous seeing such a tiny 40-seater plane from the MCIAA departure lounge.

Thirty-two (32) minutes flying on-air seems endless for me, my feelings were quite mixed. I’m nervous that our plane might have a problem and I am also excited to see my Paparts (the last time I’ve seen him was over a month ago) but I am more excited to see Boracay personally.

We arrived at Sta Barbara Airport at 8:32AM, claimed our baggage and wait another hour for the van we hired going to Caticlan. The trip was quite long, it takes us 4 hours to take a five-minute boat ride from Caticlan to Boracay Island.

Relaxation in Bantayan

December 4th, 2008 graz 1 comment

Bantayan is a magnificent island, and currently known as Cebu’s semi-secret little island Paradise (small numbers of travelers over the years have slowly been putting the word out). This is located of the northern tip of Cebu’s mainland.

Getting in Bantayan Island is quite a weary, you need to travel 3 hours by land and an hour by sea. But once you get there, the exhaustion will be eliminated when you see the sand twinkling under the bright sun. It’s good to escape the demanding job after all.

Vacation at Dipolog City

November 22nd, 2008 graz No comments

Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte is my hometown and birthplace. This is where I grew-up and spend my childhood. I missed Dipolog for its fresh air and simple rural ambience. Dipolognons’ hospitality is quite superb. Moreover, the place remains peaceful despite the fact that Abusaff and MILF’s wrath in Mindanao island.

I’ve spent my two-day “All Saint’s Day” with my family. It was a memorable one.
